I began a photography practice in 2024, with a special interest in environmental portraiture. I’m inspired by image makers as varied as Diane Arbus, Peter Hujar, Deana Lawson, and Bettina Rheims. But I’m also interested in dialoguing with the painterly values and the ideas in canonical “great master” paintings like those of Caravaggio, Manet, and David—especially to reframe and center experiences that mirror mine.
